The National Landscape of State Innovation and Pilot Programs

Day: 09/24/2019 | Time: 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM | Room: Meeting Room 206

Many states are exploring opportunities to provide schools with the flexibility and support needed to reimagine learning.  Although there is wide recognition that the traditional, one-size-fits-all model is no longer sufficient, it is widely assumed that state policy barriers are what stand in the way of innovative leaders.  We will present new research exploring that premise and share the best opportunities for state leaders to push boundaries and empower innovative educators to design new ways to meet the needs of 21st century learners.
