OIE’s inaugural Education Innovation Summit brought visionary leaders together with more than 100 teachers and leaders from Arkansas schools to Focus, Connect, and Act to transform education in Arkansas! If you weren’t able to join us last week you may be able to join us for regional follow up meetings we are planning to continue the momentum that was started last week.
We would like to thank our special guests Commissioner Key, Representative Charlotte Douglas, and Assistant Commissioner Jones for joining us to learn more about personalizing learning.
Thank you to our presenters for their engaging and informative sessions on personalized learning, competency-based learning, project-based learning, Expeditionary Learning, facilitating a council of innovation, planning a school of innovation, developing flexible schedules and career-focused programs. Recordings, presentations, and pictures from the day are available here:
Based on your feedback we are planning to connect with you for follow up sessions so you can pursue deeper learning and planning in the areas that may meet the needs of your students and your communities.
Stay tuned! We’ll be announcing more opportunities for you to explore and design transformations in your schools!
